Here’s What You Need to Know


For Buyers: The current market offers more choice and less competition than we’ve seen in a while. Prices have stabilized, and with potential mortgage rate cuts on the horizon, now’s the time to:

  • Get your pre-approval lined up.

  • Explore neighbourhoods you might have ruled out last year.

  • Make sure you’re ready to act when the right property appears (because the best homes still move fast).

Bottom line: The buyers who are prepared now will be the ones who win later this year when activity heats up again.


For Sellers: Good homes are selling, but buyers are savvy. This isn’t a “throw it on the market and see what happens” environment. To get top dollar, you need to:

  • Price strategically.

  • Present your home beautifully (staging matters more than ever).

  • Work with someone who understands how to market your home to today’s buyers.
